Turn your big idea into reality with the 2025 PYOE Competition

Got students with big ideas? Help them turn those ideas into reality by participating in the Plan Your Own Enterprise Competition. Whether they’re dreaming of becoming entrepreneurs or just curious about the business world, this is the perfect opportunity for them to level up.

They’ll gain hands-on experience in everything from market analysis to marketing strategies, all while competing for amazing prizes. Plus, they’ll develop valuable skills, connect with industry professionals, and start building the businesses of their dreams.

As an educator, you have the chance to create a lasting impact by bringing the PYOE competition into your lessons. Whether you integrate it into your curriculum or offer it as a co-curricular challenge, this is their opportunity to dive into the real world of business, all while learning in a school setting and bringing their ideas to life.

Check out the 2025 PYOE Student Booklet and Entry Form to start empowering your students to dream big!

The Educators' Ball hosted by PTCWA

-
The Westin Hotel

PTCWA is hosting the inaugural Educators’ Gala Ball on Saturday, 9 August 2025, at the Westin Hotel in Perth. (flyer attached).

All educators and their partners are warmly invited.

For those who travel far, or wish to make it an even bigger night, we chose to hold it on a Saturday and at a hotel in the CBD with several hotels in close proximity. We have also negotiated a discount rate at the venue hotel, The Westin.

This event is designed to:

  • celebrate the invaluable contributions of all involved in education
  • foster a stronger sense of professional community among education staff and
  • raise funds for charities that help children in educational need; this year’s beneficiaries include:
    • Ronald McDonald House Learning Program, supporting children who have missed school due to serious illness
    • Royal Flying Doctor Service, whose work in remote and regional education is widely respected
